We've had many requests over the years for a good dreadlock spray and soak that could also be a bug repellent for things like lice. This spray is a 50% Himalayan saline salt solution with a 50% apple cider vinegar and turpentine, tea tree, cinnamon, rosemary, lemongrass, oregano, lavender and peppermint essential oils and DMSO blend infused into it.
The essential oils, DMSO and saline solution dry out lice and their eggs without the use of harsh chemicals included in most lice treatments. These ingredients help balance the pH of your scalp, so it can also help prevent dandruff.
The spray is shaken well and used all over the hair and scalp, rubbed in, then left to dry out (if treating lice, if not you can wash while wet). The dreads are then soaked in a baking soda and hot water solution before being washed and rinsed with warm water.
We also make a scalp treatment to prevent bugs made with primarily fully ozonated olive oil gel as well as an aloe and ozone spray to help moisturize your hair after this regimen.
It comes in a 16oz amber glass spray bottle for $15.
The entire set of 5 (Soak, Wash, Spray, Scalp Treatment & Baking Soda) is $50.
